Making time to connect

Every summer, our international team makes time to get together to celebrate MZT’s birthday, pause and reflect on where we’ve come from and where we’re going, and enjoy some quality time as a whole group. This year’s getaway took the team to Elmley Nature Reserve for three days of good food, discussion, and immersion in nature.

Enabling the next generation

The green transition continues to grow at pace, with the UK’s net zero sector alone growing three times faster than the country’s wider economy. To get DAC to where it needs to be within the next decade, we are working to enable the next generation of climate pioneers by providing early career opportunities, supporting skills programmes, and sharing learnings with budding climate entrepreneurs.

Mentoring a further 60 students, following last year’s inaugural event.

Sharing insights on climate change mitigation and cleantech innovation with 240+ students, from GCSE through to postgraduate level.

Providing remote mentoring for 15 young adults looking to start impactful environmental careers locally.

Being a guest judge and speaker for a public speaking competition on climate and health for ~120 sixth form/GCSE students.
